Tips On Regripping Golf Clubs

In golf, you need to make sure that you have the equipment and tools that are need in sports. One important tool that you need to buy is golf club. It must be in your golf cart all the time. There are a lot more accessories that you need to have like golf shoes, balls, cart, bags or cases and others. You need to buy these things to be able to play golf in the best way that you can.

 

The golf clubs that you use in this game come in various forms. You may find those that are made of wood or metal. You have to make sure that they are in good condition all the time. Keep in mind that sometimes, the grip of the club may malfunction. You need to regrip them from time to time. There are some tips that you will surely help you. Try to remember them all the time.

 

REMOVE OLD GRIP

 

The first thing that you have to do is to remove the old grip that is one the club. You need to do it carefully. You can use a knife to make things easier. Cut a slit on the shaft where the grip is being attached. You then need to remove the grip and expose the end of the shaft. There are tapes that you will find inside so you need to remove them all and prepare it for a new grip.

 

PREPARE FOR NEW GRIP

 

It is very important that you know how to prepare the club for a new grip. After removing the old grip, you need to look at the tapes attached to it. If there are rust in it, it a good sign that will tell you that you have to change all the tapes. Make sure that there are no wrinkles on the tapes because they may affect the firmness of the grip.

 

TAPE AND SOLVENT

You have to use various things to make the grip work better. The tape must be applied carefully so that it will not wrinkle. Apply  the wrapping one at a time and make sure that there is no wrinkle. You have to pour solvent on the new grip and also at the tapes that you have applied. Make sure that they are evenly distributed to ensure that it will adhere to the club. Try to have junior golf equipment.

 

It is very important that the golf club that you are using is in good condition all the time. You have to regrip them from time to time to make sure that you will be able to use the club efficiently.
